Catch up on books you haven't finished

Reading is not only good for your brain but it helps keep your mind off of other things, (i.e. being unemployed. ) If you can, try to branch out into new genres, I tend to read fantasy/adventure novels so I went through my books and found a few that were different. 'The Pickwick papers' is my unusual book choice, so far I'm not sure if it was a good one, but it's always good to try new things anyway. If you don't have many books, then visit your local library and take a look through their catalogue. Try to pace yourself while reading, if you're like me you can finish a 500 page book everyday, so take it easy, it's not a race!

I picked up and finished 5 book series plus started a few new ones that I had hanging around the house, it always makes me feel good to finish something, even if it's just a book . I love to read so I figured I could use my new found free time to finish half-read books and start ones that have been collecting dust on my shelf for years.

Some of the books I read:
  • Twilight Series - Stephanie Meyer (I have some readers regret on this one)
  • The Vampire Diaries series- L.J Smith
  • Vampirates Series-Justin Somper
  • Wheel of Time (Only on book 5, it's more of a casual read for me.)-Robert Jordan
  • Cirque Du Freak- Book 1-Darren Shan
  • Before Green Gables-Budge Wilson
  • The Alchemist & The Magician-Micheal Scott
  • The Pickwick Papers (also an in progress casual read)-Charles Dickens
  • Max - James Patterson
  • The Strongbow Saga-Judson Roberts
  • Dragonlance Series - Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
